Fife’s young entrepreneurs to show what they can offer the business community

Twenty of Fife’s young entrepreneurs will take over the Old Kirk in Kirkcaldy on 20th February to showcase their companies to the business community.  Aged between 21 and 33 the entrepreneurs are running businesses in a range of sectors including traditional trades, creative and professional services. They hope that by inviting the business community to come and see for themselves the quality and diversity of what they are doing they can forge useful business connections.

Local Companies learn how to make Public Contracts Scotland work for them

Public Contracts Scotland has been the focal point for companies looking to secure contracts in the public sector since 2008, but many still find it a daunting process.

A half-day workshop run by Business Gateway Fife and Fife Council Economic Development, as part of the Supplier Development Programme, will steer companies through the system.  The workshop will include how to tender for work through Quick Quotes and e-tendering. The Supplier Development Programme is delivered by Fife Council to SMEs the opportunity to grow and diversify through procurement.
