Now that the Workplace Pensions law has changed, every employer within the UK has a legal obligation to help more of their workers save for retirement.  You need to be aware of the facts, to allow you to plan and budget accordingly, therefore minimising the risk of fines.  We are running an Auto Enrolment course on 23 March from 9.30am to 12.30pm so you can find out more.

Fife based bookseller hosts World Book Day event for local primary schools and families.

Better World Books, a leading socially responsible online bookseller, will host an event on Thursday 5 March to celebrate World Book Day. Local primary schools have been invited to attend the event which will be a celebration of books and reading. The event will run from 9am to 6pm at the Better World Books premises in the Castle Industrial Estate, Dunfermline.

Nearly 100 would-be business owners turned out to get an inspiring message from local successful business owners this week, thanks to our “Just Start It” events.  The evenings were held in Glenrothes, Dunfermline and St Andrews so that people thinking about starting a business could be inspired and encouraged by successful businesses who have been on that journey.

Tycoon Teens, Inspiring Fife

Entrepreneurs of the future were showcasing their ideas at an event in front of business leaders from across Fife this week.

Tycoon Teens, Inspiring Fife is a new pilot open to all S5 / 6 pupils across Fife who have an innovative idea and need some support to develop both that idea and their own personal skills.

Four finalists from Glenrothes, Glenwood and St Columbas High Schools pitched their idea in a Dragon’s Den style event, with the winning team coming from Glenrothes High School.
