Landmark Day for Local Training Company

The 19th March was a landmark day for Business Gateway Fife client, St Andrews Management Centre Ltd (STAMC) with the official launch of the company at the St Andrews Links Trust Morris Building.  Invited guests from local businesses and academic organisations joined with the STAMC team to celebrate two milestone achievements: the company successfully achieving Approved Centre status with both the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) and the Scottish Qualifications Authority.  Approved centre status with the ILM allows the centre to deliver accredited management qualifications.  The

Women’s Enterprise Scotland - International Conference

Women’s Enterprise Scotland (WES) will be hosting an exciting International Conference here in Scotland on 12/13 May 2015, Glasgow Caledonian University.

A key aim of WES is to create an environment which enables and supports more women to start up and grow their own businesses. New Fife Food and Drink Businesses Urged to Test the Market

Fife Farmers Market in conjunction with Business Gateway Fife are calling for new food and drink businesses in the region to take advantage of a free opportunity that will allow them to showcase their produce to thousands of consumers across four popular farmers markets.

A partnership established in 2013 between Fife Farmers Markets and Business Gateway Fife allows start-up Fife food businesses free use of a sponsored stand at weekly markets across Fife for a three month period.

TV Viewing Policy Guide for Businesses

TV Licensing has created a guide to help businesses communicate their policy for watching television on their premises.

The guide on TV in the workplace, entitled ‘The policy on watching TV at this address’, can be downloaded and printed from TV Licensing’s website: www.tvlicensing.co.uk/business to be completed and displayed. The guide can be adapted to suit any location – whether viewing is allowed or not. It is designed to clarify where, when and how staff can watch live TV at work.
