Businesses of every kind across Fife are being urged to sign up to a new Fife Loves Local Gift Card to help people keep spending local.

To encourage people across the region to back local businesses, Fife is soon to have its own local gift card.

Fife Council is supporting the rollout of the new Scotland Loves Local Gift Card- helping power the region’s economic fightback from the Covid-19 pandemic.

Pittenweem Preserves Heads To The R&A’s 150th Open

A preserve making business, which started as a hobby for Pittenweem-based interior designer, Fiona Audsley, has become a full-time job, which is keeping her busier than ever.
 
Fiona started Pittenweem Preserves four years ago and is currently basking in the success of having secured a significant contract to make two limited edition marmalades (one Seville orange, the other with a whisky twist) for The R&A’s 150th Open, which takes place in St Andrews in July 2022.

Cyber Threat Warning to Fife businesses as Global Ransomware Attacks Double in the First Half of 2021

Cyber security experts in Fife are warning small businesses and charities to be extra vigilant after a surge in ransomware attacks in the first half of 2021.

Alba Digital Solutions is urging SMEs to take extra steps to protect against network vulnerabilities following the publication of a new report revealing global ransomware attacks hit a record 305 million in the first six months of this year.

The figure exceeds that of 2020, which recorded 305 million attempted attacks for the whole year, in its entirety.
