New Jobs And New Opportunities As Levenmouth Business Park Gets Funding Boost

New modern and attractive business units which will create and sustain jobs in the Levenmouth area have moved a step closer – courtesy of funding from the Levenmouth Reconnected Programme.

Almost £715,000 has been allocated from the LRP’s £10 million fund to bolster what’s available at Levenmouth Business Park, with seven new employment units – comprising an incredible 753m² of business space – being developed in a prime location.

Maggie’s, the charity which provides free practical and emotional support for people living with cancer, is pleased to be supporting a Grand Sale, within the new K107fm Community Space in Kirkcaldy’s Mercat Shopping Centre. The event is taking place on Saturday 18th June, from 10:00 to 16:00. Expect bargains on the day to include ladies clothing, hand bags, books and home goods, all new or pre-loved.

Businesses Urged To Get Planning Permission As Covid Restrictions Set to End

As life starts to get back to normal after the pandemic, it’s time for businesses to plan and adapt for the future. In September, the temporary relaxations, which many businesses have benefited from, will come to an end.

In April 2020, the Scottish Government introduced new legislation to make it easier for businesses to adapt their operations during the pandemic and periods of lockdown. This allowed businesses greater flexibility to make physical changes to their premises, type of services offered and hours of operation, without the need for planning permission.

Resilience stands out as the defining characteristic as the Fife Business Awards 2022 winners are revealed

The 2022 Fife Business Award winners were announced at a spectacular award ceremony at the Old Course Hotel, St Andrews on Friday, 27th May.

Four hundred people were present at the ceremony, which was the culmination of a process that began in June 2021.

Twenty-four companies were selected as finalists after the first stage of judging and the winners in each category were selected after an interview with a panel of judges.
