Fife businesses encouraged to apply for funding towards energy efficiency and digital improvements

Climate Action Fife is encouraging SME’s based in town centres and defined shopping areas to apply for funding towards energy efficiency and digital improvements.

A grant of up to £5,000 may be available to businesses through Fife Council’s Fife Town Centre Digital Improvements and Energy Efficiency Grant.

Eligible businesses can qualify for a £5,000 cashback grant towards measures such as a new boiler, LED lighting and double-glazing. Improvements must be completed before claiming the grant, which is available until 31 March 2023.

Owner, John Mckenzie, has many years of experience in the metal fabrication industry across many sectors in Edinburgh and Fife. In June 2021, he along with his partner Deborah, decided to take the plunge and open their own business and All Seasons Outdoor Living was born.

Babcock Opens Applications For 250 New Jobs At Rosyth

International Defence company Babcock, has opened applications for 250 new recruits for its Production Support Operative (PSO) programme at Rosyth. This is in addition to more than 40 PSO roles that were filled at the site earlier this year.
 
The PSO programme has a focus, but not exclusively, on attracting candidates who are not currently in education, employment, or training.
