Step on Stress at Work Workshop Event

In a recent Workplace Needs Assessment Survey carried out by NHS Fife Workplace Team, 74% of respondents named ‘workplace stress’ as a priority topic. 

If this is a concern for you, NHS Fife Workplace Team are hosting a free event at the Bay Hotel, Kinghorn on Wednesday 21st June for this which will all you to:

  • Define stress including signs and symptoms (am) 
  • Identify workplace risks which may lead to stress (am) 
  • Consider workplace legislation which protects workers from stress at work (am) 
  • Appreciate resilience as a stress reduction tool for individuals (am) 
  • Discover the importance of sleep in reducing stress incidence (pm) 
  • Highlight available services and resources to manage workplace stress risks (all day) 


Attendees have the option of attending either the morning session 09:00 – 12:45 or stay for the full day until 16:00.

Speakers will explore topics in a thought provoking and interactive way and you’ll have opportunities to network with organisations that can support workplace health, safety and wellbeing. 

Please note your interest in attending the ‘Step on Stress at Work’ workshop if you work for a Fife organisation or business and would like to improve your knowledge of stress and it’s impacts, find out more about stress reduction tools/methods, and increase your awareness and use of partner services. 

A maximum of two representatives can attend per organisation or business. Contact us as soon as possible to avoid disappointment as places to attend will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
